DESCRIPTION:

Perennial, 40-80(120) cm tall. Stems erect, parallel and rigid. Stems and leaves similar in appearance, 0.2 cm across, sharp pointed. Inflorescence terminal, consisting of multi-flow-ered sprays on stalks of unequal length, each spray c. 1*3 cm, brown. Lower bracts erect up to 20 cm, loke a continuation of the stem, upper bract up to 4 cm.
